Trick or treat till the neighbours gonna die of fright! Obviously I had to post something for Halloween this week – ‘cause Halloween is life! Or death, whichever way you want to look at it. Hopefully you’ll feel there’s more treats than tricks within today’s post!
We are now a little over half way through the first month of a fresh new year and of course I’ve been thinking a lot about the things I’d like to achieve in 2017 and reflecting on how I did with my 2016 goals. Due to now being half way through 2016 I figured it would be the right time to take a look back on my resolutions. I’m sure you’ll agree that by being held accountable for something in such a large way via the internet, it proves to be the biggest kick to the rear possible. It’s so incredibly important to look for the positives in life no matter how insignificant they may seem, all too often in our busy routines do we fail to notice so many beautiful things harbouring happiness. Too often are we caught up in the mundane and fail to stop and smell the roses, as the saying goes. You may have already read my previous posts “Don’t Fall out with Autumn” and “Mini Moments of Mirth”, today I’m sharing with you my last ‘Moments of Mirth’ post for a while. I’ll no doubt find another way to incorporate the hidden treasures of life into my blog, however. Now, sit back and enjoy the exploration into my mind and the little things which make me smile, I hope they too offer you some form of contentment, no matter how trivial that may be.
Hello m’darling, as it’s ‘Motivational Monday’ here on the blog and it’s a few weeks into 2016 I thought now would be a good time to check in with the elusive new years resolutions. If you would like to familiarise yourself with my previous resolutions post of which I published on new years eve, then here it is: “Reach your Resolutions!”. Surprisingly, I’ve got off to a really good start.
As the new year gets underway many are embarking on a journey to reach their goals and targets to achieve their resolutions. Even for those of which have everything all figured out it can still prove a little tough to get started or keep up momentum beyond the new years day hangover or the first gruelling week. Due to this I wanted to do something a little different with my Monday’s posts and for the month of January I’m introducing ‘Motivational Monday’s!’ with the aim to offer a little inspiration to both myself and anybody who may be struggling. I will have a different topic each Monday throughout the month and today’s focus is on routines; the benefits, establishing them and keeping them!
It’s that time again, when everybody tells the world that they’ve had a lousy year and then proceeds to saying that it’s pointless to set any resolutions as they’ll never stick to them, or there’s those of which will set them without a real plan in mind or something incredibly vague. I’m going to be different and today’s post is about embracing the coming year with wonder and taking full advantage of the golden opportunity to both set and strive to accomplish goals, whilst being thankful of the positives and negatives of the past year. Read on if you wish for inspiration, motivation and to generally make the most of and celebrate life for what it is! Lets all help one another to find ways of building better lives for ourselves and smashing our goals into the back of the net with determination, gaining fulfilment. No matter what our dreams and goals are as individuals, make a promise to yourself to resolve to reach your full potential!
