Today is a post that I’ve been really excited about doing. I haven’t done a book review in a while and due to being such a huge bookworm it’s something that I love doing as when I find a fantastic book I naturally want to tell people about it and recommend it due to the genius within it’s pages! Today is super exciting for me because it’s a double book review! I’m sure there are many of you who’ve already read Zoe Sugg’s books, however with Girl Online: On Tour still being recent, I felt it were an appropriate time to share my insights with you all on both books, Girl Online and Girl Online: On Tour!
Hello my darlings! Today I were going to be sharing with you all a lovely array of Christmas crafty bits and bobs, however my first and only endeavour were a huge epic fail. Every year I like to get my Mom a good selection of gifts but sadly she has been lacking in the Christmas stocking department. I thought to myself, “How hard can it be?” and decided to go all DIY Davis and make her one. I’ve done just that….
In correlation with a post I made in August, regarding Autumn and some ways in which I brought joy upon myself, (you can read this post here: Don’t Fall out with Autumn), I thought I’d make a habit throughout the Autumn and Winter months of displaying some of the small things that make me happy, or things to be thankful for of which often get overlooked in the brisk hustle and bustle of our every day lives. I do hope this post will offer some form of joy to you and enable you to identify examples pertaining to your own share of sprightliness.
Christmas is coming and along with it breeds a multitude of pop up German markets across the country. This happens every year and by some blasphemous occurrence I had still yet to sample the joy in full HD of the delights the Leeds version holds. I have popped into the market in previous years but have never spent much time there or been with more than one person therefore it’s never really held magic to it’s full potential. This year however is different, celebrating something my friends and I like to call ‘Billingsmas’, we all were on our way for a lovely start to the Christmas (or Billingsmas) festivities.
Today is a day for pets, although not a post focused on pet care. Instead I just want to appreciate my own little bundles of absolute joy! Continue reading “Positively Pets!”
Hello out there, lets get straight into this one shall we? Christmas is round the corner and I thought what better way to make a start on the holiday season than with that of a little bloggy post here. All we get asked as it draws closer to the annual Saint Nick visit, is what we’re wanting for Christmas and I’m sure I’m not the only one who actually feels pretty darn awkward about the whole situation. Maybe it is me, who knows – but I know for a fact that I always feel mega cheeky when this question is thrust upon myself. I don’t know what budget a person has, or in terms of my Mom – how many presents she’s wanting to spoil me with this year.
Yes, I’m here again with another cosmetics tag, what can I say, I enjoy them! I were having a peek through El’s blog (ElButlerxox) and came across this little joy which I thought would be fun to do. Whilst on the subject of the lovely El, I recently did a Blogger Interview with her to celebrate the first year of her blogging. This were posted on Friday, along with the answers from some other lovely ladies, and you can view that here!
Today’s post I guess is a little more of an account of a recent event I attended and an appreciation of relationships with the people I care about. Two greatly cherished friends of mine got married at the weekend, two of the most kind-hearted, loving, respectful, funny and intelligent people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I can’t imagine anybody better suited for either of them and I’m so incredibly elated for both Mark and Nadia. Whilst on this note, I’d like to take the opportunity again to congratulate them and wish them every happiness in their lives together. You are both amazing, beautiful people and deserve the very best of everything. Thank you for inviting me to share your special day, I had an absolute blast and will always have my own very fond memories to keep. You both looked absolutely sensational and I felt very proud indeed, you even managed to get both myself and Aimee crying – which neither of us expected in a million years!
If you’re a frequent visitor here then you’ll know that I published a post on rabbit care in October (if not, you can find that post here: https://disasterdavis.wordpress.com/2015/10/19/hop-to-it/ ), it were proven helpful to some therefore thought it a good idea to publish another, this time for a smaller cuddly critter. Whilst hamsters are considerably easier to care for than rabbits, there are maybe still some things that people are unsure of regarding the correct care for their small friends. I have vast experience of owning both Syrian and Russian Dwarf breeds therefore feel I’m able to give adequate tips and advice where appropriate on this matter.
Hi all, just a quick post for two reasons….
