Beauty Bingo #11 with Disaster Davis and AyR Galaxy

Oh look, I’ve been sticking to my blogging schedule and I’m getting a Beauty Bingo out ON TIME for once, yay! Since I were taking my daughter to meet her Great Granddad over the weekend, I were keen to ensure this would be a wearable look, no matter what coordinates I were given.

The rules are simple…
1. Pick your palette – I’ve chosen the Make-Up Revolution London 144 Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette for today’s post.
2. Cut out small paper pieces numbered and lettered according to the columns and rows in your chosen palette.
3. Separate the pieces into rows and columns then proceed to choosing five from each, this will determine your Bingo coordinates! Mine are as follows:

B – C11, R1
I – C4, R2
N – C2, R8
G – C1, R12
O – C3, R10

4. Get creative! You must use all five colours. Extra products can of course be used to perfect the complete look such as eye liner and mascara, so long as the chosen shadows are out to play!

As I said, I really needed to find a way to make this a wearable look, no matter which shades I had to play with… I were incredibly lucky as three of the shadows were goldy brown colours which would be easy to work with, not so easy however, were the blue-grey shade and the bright neon yellow! I had absolutely zero idea as to what to do with these, but settled on applying them with a very light hand for starters, the blue-grey acting as bottom lash liner and the yellow being used for the inner corner to draw attention to the eyes. This somehow worked thankfully, probably due to using a light hand for application.

So what do you think to my November contribution, would you rock this look yourself? Please do share any of your own looks with myself and Rossy as we’d love to see your talents! Speaking of which, don’t forget to take a look at the results of Rossy’s November challenge too!

With Love,
Disaster Davis x

  1. i like how natural it is, you could definitely rock this look on a daily basis 🙂 also, i like that palette of yours, i’m trying to get another one that’s full of matte colors 🙂

    1. Thank you! I were so relieved I managed to find a way to make it work especially when I pulled the neon yellow out of the bag! It’s a really good palette and I’ve had it for years now.. Then again I would like it since I’m obsessed with MURL, seriously though if you ever manage to get your hands on the brand, DO IT, I can’t recommend their products enough, especially shadows! If you have a peek on the Tam Beauty website you’ll be able to see the whole range, they’ve a couple of these palettes now and I’m sure one of them is just mattes. 🙂
