So once again I’m a smidge late with this, but yesterday were the third Tuesday of this month, which of course means one thing… Time for mine and AyR Galaxy’s Beauty Bingo!
The rules are simple…
1. Pick your palette – I’ve chosen the Make-Up Revolution London 144 Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette for today’s post.
2. Cut out small paper pieces numbered and lettered according to the columns and rows in your chosen palette.
3. Separate the pieces into rows and columns then proceed to choosing five from each, this will determine your Bingo coordinates! Mine are as follows:
B – C1, R1
I – C1, R12
N – C8, R8
G – C5, R12
O – C3, R2
4. Get creative! You must use all five colours. Extra products can of course be used to perfect the complete look such as eye liner and mascara, so long as the chosen shadows are out to play!
So again I were faced with a couple of the neon colours, which in a past Beauty Bingo look have failed to excite me due to a lack of pigment. I definitely didn’t expect much from these and I did pile on the colour, I guess they didn’t do too bad, though. The lightest colour to come out for today’s look (B) is barely even there, I decided to just use this as a transition from the rest of the look leading up to the brow bone and the brown colour pictured on the end in my above swatches I decided to use to fill in my brows a little! I were out of any other ideas really, so this proved to be a good enough place to plonk it! The colour which has definitely stood out for me in this look is the one I chose to use as a liner! In the pan (N) actually looks much more of a deep purple, so I were really surprised to find it came out on the skin as a very bright but deep royal blue. I’m rather appalled with myself for having never used this before because it’s definitely caught my attention. I don’t think I were given such a raw deal with today’s coordinates and I feel like the overall look is pretty well timed considering it’s the official start to summer, too!
What are your thoughts on the outcome of today’s Bingo colours? If you have any of your own be sure to share them with Rossy and I as we’d love to see what you’ve come up with.. Speaking of which, don’t forget to check out her post too – she’s a chuffin’ legend!
